Was very clean and the pool was great. The grounds were also lovely and it’s a short walk to the Main Street. Would have scored higher but for the extortionate WiFi costs

I loved the peace and quiet, the warm welcome and facilities - everything was provided for a relaxing holiday, and more. The view from my room was lovely and great having the pool but Coast is located so near to Emily Bay I tended to swim in the ocean every day. This is a fabulous place!
Lovely little town with plenty of coffee shops. RSL club had great evening meals at quite reasonable prices. Plenty of other eateries in town, and heaps to do on the island especially if you love Australian colonial history and beautifully maintained historical buildings. Food prices on the island are expensive as most has to be flown in from Australia.

The township of Burnt Pine is easily accessed from pretty much anywhere on the Island. It has a variety of shops for daily meal requirements, holiday shopping, tasty treats, eating out & to arrange sightseeing.
So much history on Norfolk Island.
We enjoyed the various museums, the Cyclorama, glass bottom boat, Tea Side Carriage ride, fish fry, Commandants Dinner & Progressive Dinner.
Having a car allowed us to easily get around to all the bays, lookouts & other sights.

Where do we start?
Where do we start? I suppose having Rocky waiting for us to check in; very unusual and very most appreciated.
Your accommodation and staff are very polite, pleasant and welcoming. They made our visit relaxing and were there to guide/support us without annoying us. (Hard to achieve both but you did it). The villa we stayed in was well appointed and very clean. The views from the verandah were amazing. At first the Wi-Fi only at the rotunda was disconcerting but we soon realised the pleasure in not checking e-mails and other crap every half hour or so.
Overall a 12 out of ten.

Burnt Pine was a wonderful place to stay in Norfolk Island.
Burnt Pine was a wonderful place to stay in Norfolk Island. Very close to the main town and was easy to get to with your hire car (which you do need if you are staying on the island). The whole island holds a piece of my heart now as the people are amazing, the township and community was visible and inspiring. The food was THE BEST!! anywhere you go but I did have a very memorable meal at 'The Homestead' restaurant! Very much worth a visit! I stayed on the Island for 7 day and was busy all day and into the night on all of these days! The tours were well run and very interesting, especially if you are into history!! Well worth the trip and I give it a ten out of ten! I wish I could move there!!!

A great place to visit to get away from the rat race.
A great place to visit to get away from the rat race. You can do as little or as much as you like. Beautiful scenery everywhere you go with plenty of flat walking as well as more energetic hiking if you feel like it. The locals are delightful with numerous cafes, clubs and restaurants that all serve fresh, beautiful food.

Burnt Pine is like a country town.
Burnt Pine is like a country town. Everyone knows each other, people don't lock their cars and business opening and closing times are a bit more relaxed. On Wednesdays many shops close at 12 noon. A lot of cafes close at 2pm. Even the restaurants close by around 8pm. People are friendly and everyone waves as you drive by. Food is expensive and the supermarket is small but adequate. If you are eating out, order the fish, couldn't get fresher or tastier.
