I liked pretty much everything, the location of the hotel - on a safe and secluded street, the Staff were courteous doing their job excellently, I enjoyed the meal, and I loved the attention to detail and ambience of the hotel design and the messages on each canvas as you walked on the corridors. I forgot to mention something very important about greywood hotel in ikeja. The morning of your booking they contact you over the phone and say that you have to pay now to keep your reservation and that your room is not available but they upgraded you and its gonna cost you more. Don't fall fo it it's a scam. Most of them do that in nigeria when it says pay on arrival on booking.com.

Liked · The toilet and the air conditioner were the only 2 things that worked well.
Disliked · I reserved the executive suite with the tub. They put me in the wrong room because the room had only a shower. They did change my room and put me on a room with a tub. The tub was dirty, and the shower part of the tub was broken. They also did not have a stopper to plug the hole so I could take a bath. So I went to Shoprite to buy disinfect for the tub and a stopper so I could take a bath. To take a hot bath, you had to call them to turn the hot water tank on, and sometimes you had to call them twice because they would ignore you. When you go to breakfast, they charge you for every little thing. For example, if you have coffee, you better drink it black because they charge you extra for the milk and sugar. You can not park your car there. There is no parking for vehicles. If you watch TV, you have to get up and walk to the TV because they did not give you a remote. I asked for a remote for the TV, and they said that they would bring me the remote but never did. The swimming pool is dirty. The whole place is dirty. One day, my husband and I were going out for the day. As we were leaving the hotel, a staff member stopped and wanted our key for the room. He thought we were checking out. My husband said no, we are not checking out. We are just going out for the day. Then the staff member said I still need your key card because you might lose it, and it will cost you #10,000 naira to get another key card. I told him we are not illegitimate children. We are gown adults, and you will not be getting my key card because I paid for the room and walked off. He acted like we couldn't afford #10,000 naira if we did lose it. There are many other stories I can tell you about this place, but this is already too long. PLEASE EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. IT IS A CRAP HOLE. The pictures online are deceiving.

This was my first time visiting Nigeria. Ikeja was a great place to stay. Not too crowded but not too boring. The area was safe and there are things to do that are not too far. I enjoyed the Shoprite mall and frequented it a lot.

The ACs didn’t work in either room they charged me extraThen what I booked it for and then try to charge double price per room so they only charged me an extra 10,000 lol I’m from usa they are not friendly to American white people. And I paid for ac and the ac in whole plan didn’t work then they also gave me a worse room than I booked for they said they gave my room away then charged more was super hot and sucked don’t recommend not even in the worst emergency.

The location is very good Its central in ikeja. Also the receptionist and bell boy who recieved me were awesome. Suprisingly they bear same name (precious) both male and female staff. The breakfast was good they even call your room to remind you. Less i forget some tall white beared guy was the boss. He wowed me with his politeness and courteousnes. The setting of my first room the studio apartment with a balcony is great.Thank you so much guys i would recommend apt 79 anytime.
My first observation driving up to the hotel, I felt secure, it was gated and security was at the gate, to let us in. When I walked into the Hotel it was clean, organized, the receptionist was pleasant. My room was clean, spacious and smelled really good, the blue lights was a plus. The room ambiance was exceptional. The workers were very pleasant, friendly and respectful. Christ was a Big help!!
The passage was so dirty, no response for room service even when we requested for a glass cup and spoon we were being transferred on phone from kitchen to room service department and back to the receptionist and eventually no person came to attend to us. We have to relocate to Ibis Hotel at Toyin Street as I have been there b4 and Ibis at Toyin St Ikeja's was quite great.
Beautiful hotel, amazing food, excellent service and most importantly amazing staff. I enjoyed my stay, I will definitely come back, however, if you are not fit to climb the stairs, stay on the ground floor. Overall, beautiful, clean, secure and uninterrupted power supply. Freshly cooked food all the time.
