A really nice hotel east of Nizwa. Nice rooms, good WiFi, nice pool, excellent buffet in the evenings by the pool, excellent breakfast in the restaurant. Nice little shop selling some local crafts. Staff very attentive. The hotel is well positioned for a trip up to Al Jabal Al Akhdar (4x4 essential).

House keeping staff I guess he was there other then that one person no one there after our entry. we gave him our burger middle of the night he was very happy that is good things because we put someone face smile atleast even though our stay not satisfied. we paid OMR 12 Pluse just for bed?? and just to take shower?? Aircone,?ceiling fan? I just waste the money.

    Very nice town, I loved these narrow streets, a lot of nice cafes and restaurants with rooftops. Good museums and markets. We liked museum Oman across the ages, it is located outside the town, but it is worth to visit it. We hadn’t time but next time I would love to visit a lot of beautiful places around the city (nature).

    A beautiful historic town where history and modern times are combined. From Nizwa it is possible to take many day trips by car and spend plenty of time in the area (Hajar mountains, Bahla, Jabreen etc.). Very exotic is the cattle market with auction, which takes place every Friday from 6.00-9.00 a.m.

    Nizwa is a lovely city with lots to see however it is also central to many other towns and sights within easy drives. The highlight for me is the Friday goat market and I would recommend this to anyone visiting Nizwa.

    Nizwa is a beautiful little town you need to stop by if you are venturing around in Oman. The Nizwa fort is a must. I learned a lot about the country and Nizwa by walking around and seeing the exhibition and everything else. Also in Nizwa, you have a small and cute souq. I found the prices in Nizwa lower than in Muscat, especially the saffron. If you plan on going to Muscat after Nizwa, I would also recommend buying a scarf there. I also loved the fruit market where I got to taste Halwa in different styles (something I wouldn't have dared try at a restaurant) and just the smells and atmosphere were incredible.

    True old walled city unlike any other in the Gulf.

    True old walled city unlike any other in the Gulf. Citadel is worth it and well preserved. Old souks are also real. It is a nice hub to visit the area and fort around it in Hamra, Bahla and even to go to Jabal Akhdar. strongly recommend one of the charming hotels inside the old city. Problem with Niza (like much of Oman) is that outside of nature activities, there is not much to do. no good restaurants, festivals, concerts, or places to go out to.

    Accommodation is very fine, clean and silence although it is in the centre of Nizwa. Housekeeper is a extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast is served in tradition style, it is very tasteful and delicious! Parking is possible in area of hotel. The hotel has green and silence place with trees, plants and water. The hotel is near the centre (Nizwa Suq, Fort) - it's about 15 min on foot. There is also café here. I very recommend this accommodation.

    Great hotel for a visit to Nizwa - located in the modern part of the town. Plenty of nearby eateries and shops. Large, spacious room - and bathroom. Great air conditioning - and a quiet and peaceful place to spend a night. Good outdoor swimming pool - and plenty of safe parking right by hotel entrance. Great breakfast buffet - with plenty of local delicacies.

    We spent our last part of the trip in Nizwa at Etra Inn, which is beautifully decorated with Omani essence and with a host that makes you feel at home. We were near all the places we wanted to visit: less than 10 minutes walk to the Souq and 3 minutes to the Wall, and still had peace and a quiet space to rest at the Inn.

    The most ideal place in Nizwa for family stay. Had booked 2 B/R at Nizwa Hotel Apartments for an overnight stay enroute to Salalah from Dubai. We felt like at home.
