I travelled in order to visit the German WW2 sites which abound in the area, the town itself is still full of historic sites going back centuries, but WW2 important buildings, such as barracks stll exist, some in ruined condition. The recent work to improve the visitor experience at the Wolfschanze is brilliant as it does not impact on the sites historical significance.PaulUnited Kingdom

In my childhood I painted for him the red-brick St. George church, which was located a few meters apart from my room. My dinner was very good too! The museum-castle is located directly at the hotel.
