If you are looking for a place to enjoy the Baltic sea and beaches for a few days to relax without any additional worries then Kołobrzeg is the place to go , it is a bit crowded and unfriendly towards dogs(restaurants don't allow dogs, but booking locations usually do.if you ask for bowl and water for your pup you will get it , but you need to ask. There are only few attractions in the city aside from the beaches.

small city, large beaches, cold water, warm people.
small city, large beaches, cold water, warm people. Definitely better place to spend few days than in Hel peninsula. Not much things to do except sun bathing, but good experience and probably best place in the Polish shore of the Baltic sea

Kolobrzeg is a great place to enjoy the seafront promenade...
Kolobrzeg is a great place to enjoy the seafront promenade and the beaches, as well as the old town. It is a 20 minute walk between the two, through the lovely parks. There is a good choice of restaurants serving local produce and international cuisine. It is a popular choice for the retirees and young families. There is no drinking culture or load music/ sports pubs. It is very safe, relaxed, friendly and colourful.
We particularly enjoyed meals at Mikado, The Greek and Colberg brewery.

Not a pretty town. I wouldn't recommend or come back.
Not a pretty town. I wouldn't recommend or come back. The beach is pretty and relatively empty in winter, but in reality, there is nothing worth visiting. We just had a good time because we were together as a family, the room was big enough, and we were taking everything as a joke. We will definitely not go back. But in case someone goes, I strongly recommend the Italian restaurant Volare. Best part of the trip! Amazing pizza, worth much more than the rest of the town.

Kolobrzeg has a very charming old center and a great access to a wide clean beach. I enjoyed our visit to Amber Museum, old church and city hall. There is beautiful park in the heart of Kolobrzeg where you can just sit and relax away from the crowds.

Not my favourite place, too much of commercial entertainment...
Not my favourite place, too much of commercial entertainment. In restaurants they did not speak much English nor Czech. In one they served expensive food in plastic bowls, drinks in plastic cups, with the excuse there is no running water. Otherwise beach was ok, water in July terribly cold. Almost no one was swimming. Be ready for the mountain's creek water temperature. Prices same as in the rest of Europe. Coffee for 4 EUR as well as beer. Only cigarettes are cheap - but much lower quality....

The apartment was newly renovated, clean, well equipped, in a quiet location. A little further from the sea, but we did not mind it. A big advantage was the free parking space. Detailed and clear instructions for accommodation were sent before our arrival.
Interior of the hotel is very interesting with a lot of paintings on the walls. With the Mona Lisa at the entrance of course. Fresh pizza was the best dish of dinner. The sauna is quite spacious. Sadly, it is not covered from pool area.
Very clean, very close to shops and town centre, very good contact with owner, and very spacious. We will definitely come again. Looks way better than in pictures and better than hotels accommodation. Highly recommend.
Parking in the underground garage is available.
Nice and spacious balcony.
Kołobrzeski Skansen Morski which is just a few dozen meters away, is worth visiting.
