Very friendly hosts. The location is great, next to the cliffs and on the north of the island, the garden and pool are beautiful. Everything was very clean and the appartment is spacious. We will come back next time!

A truly wonderful place to relax and feel good. The view over the Atlantic is simply breathtaking!
The house was clean, very cozy, comfortable, tasteful and well-equipped (especially the kitchen).
The pool and pool area were also clean; a nice place to stay in summer. The pool can also be used in March without additional heating (approx. 18 degrees water temperature).
Ponta Delgada is a quiet and beautiful place. From here you can easily travel in all directions of this beautifull island by car. Access to the Atlantic Ocean is rare. If there is an access, it is almost always rocky - you should be sure-footed here. There are hardly any sandy beaches, we didn't find any.
During the season there is a small public swimming pool in Ponta Delgada.
It is difficult for vegetarians to eat out; lots of fish – of course and lots of meat. We were five persons, two of us were vegetarians. We tried a few local restaurants but weren't that impressed with the quality (both the vegetarians and the fish/meat eaters).
Since the kitchen is very well equipped, you can also easily take care of yourself. In Ponta Delgada is a really well-stocked small supermarket (store is inconspicuous, but has a large selection).
We really enjoyed our vacation and can recommend the house.
Everything else worked very well. Communication with the provider was friendly and helpful.

This is a great hotel. Superior room had plenty of space and was really nice. Staff is attentive and helpful, shared areas are as cozy as it gets. Breakfast buffet is one of the best we've ever had.
Facing the beachfront, Mediterrâneo Madeira offers 2-star accommodation in São Vicente and has an outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace.

The hotel manager should take the selection and training of his employees seriously. The inappropriate attitude and treatment and the cleanliness of the rooms. At the same time, the hotel is nicely decorated and the breakfast is okay.

Beautiful unspoilt village with a great pool by the sea that is popular with locals. Lots of lovely walks and amazing scenery as the mountains comes down into the ocean. Good roads to drive here as you come through the tunnels so 35 mins to Funchal and 10 mins to Sao Vicente.

Lovely little apartment near the centre of Ponta Delgada. Super clean, comfortable, and modern! Excellent welcome instructions from the host that made our arrival easy (especially as we were two hours delayed). The balcony was great for evening drinks and snacks. The back garden is indeed shared, but we saw no one during our staff and it was a lovely spot for breakfast. Also loved the Nespresso machine for coffee! Nice touch.
Laundry facilities were very welcome!
Parking was super easy and on the flat (which is rare on Madeira!).
Cute, calm, quiet, incredibly tasty place in a small village on probably the most gorgeous coast of Madeira. Paulo is a fabulous and caring host. He showed all nearby possible hikes including challenging Poco das Pulgas and drove to few farthier levadas. Be sure to order at least one of Paulo the Chef dinners from local products and mostly available only to hotel's guests. Madeiran Stake with mashed potatoes and vegetables is truly gastronomic experience.
What we really enjoyed was swiming pool. The outside one is amazing and it will be reason to stay again in the hotel if we come again to Maira. Also personal was great. lady at reception desk was so helpful and friendly.
