Large room at one end of the hotel, which was quiet and with a small terrace. It was a peaceful location with a beach in front and you can walk along the road north from the hotel for a nice coastal walk. I was happy with the food on offer especially for the price paid and there was always plenty of room in the restaurant although the window tables were always "reserved" but I never saw anyone using them. Whilst it's not bang up to date I didn't find it unreasonably dated either. The shower pressure was very good.

Hotel is simply great. Perfect location, friendly staff, extremely well equipped and comfortable rooms with highest level of hygiene.
I was with a group of business partners from Italy and they were all really excited about the hotel, and especially when our Olympic champ Toni was welcoming us next morning at the front desk.
Breakfast is simply fabulous so overall great value for the money.
We were also given perfect advise for a dinner near by so all I can say is: Highly recommended!

Highly recommend! Our room was spacious and clean with a very good bathroom, kitchenette, fridge, and air conditioning. The hostel is very well situated, being close to the old town, sea, and shops. The staff were amiable and extremely helpful. We took the option to pay for a parking space located near to the hostel which was convenient and reasonably priced. A great advantage of the hostel is that it attached to a local restaurant, Bistro Villa Domus which offers an excellent breakfast for guests (available at small additional cost) and a very good and affordable option for lunch.

I liked that the parking was right in front of the apartment. The space was just the right size for two people, and the bathroom was large and clean. Towels were provided, and the TV had access to Netflix and Voyo.

As for the town of Koper, the old town is charming, you can see lots of investments in the town - there is a range of new sports facilities, modern but nicely matched with the old architecture. A nice place for a city break.

I liked the old town of Koper- interesting and some nice little places to eat. I wouldn't swim there though- very industrial and the sea appears quite polluted. If you are interested in snorkelling or swimming I would head down the coast further to the islands off Croatia. For more history, the bays in Italy like San Rocco outside of Trieste. I didn't like Piran at all- a pretty town but just a tourist disneyland

Koper is nice historical seaside city. There si also possibility to travel within 20km to other also nice historical cities Isola, Piran and Portoroz. There are nice beaches especially in Portoroz and Piran which I could recommend. Also there are Realy nice caves close to the Koper which you can visit Skocjan or Postojna jama.

Koper is the largest city on the Slovenian section of the Mediterranean.
You can tell that the city is very modern for its circumstances (outside the old town).
There are plenty of shopping opportunities for absolutely acceptable prices.
The town and the beach areas are very clean.
The town is mainly frequented by Slovenians from within the country. There are very few foreign tourists here.
The fish specialties offered by the various local restaurants are particularly recommended.

This is a wonderful city to stay in, both interesting and comfortable. It is also a convenient starting point for traveling around Istria, to Postojna Cave, Ljubljana, and Trieste.I visited Piran and Izola, but I liked Koper the most. Incredible food and drinks at the Bosnian restaurant Baštašija. All locations are within easy walking distance, but if you have luggage or the weather is bad, there is comfortable transport available throughout the city. I would like to avoid the sea bloom, and I don't understand why it isn't cleaned.

Koper is not as touristy as other towns on the Slovenian coast and that's exactly what we liked about it. It's not as crowded, yet the old town is just as beautiful as Piran or Izola. Because Koper is one of the biggest cities in Slovenia, there are a lot of shops and services, too. Koper is also more car-friendly compared to Piran, so it's more convenient for those travelling by car. Lastly, it's also the cheapest destination on the Slovenian coast.

Our stay was amazing from the beginning to the end. The appartment had everything we needed and more. Everything is exactly as described. The location is perfect to reach cities like Koper, Izola or even go to Croatia or Italy by car or taxi.
Our hosts were very helpful, so nice and made us feel at home. Whenever we had a question (or needed more wine ;) ) they immediately responded and helped us.
IComfortable. Good facilities. Good location. Owner picked us up from bus station in Koper and returned us on day of departure. Koper is an interesting old venetian town with good shops and seafood restaurants. Recommend visiting wetland centre if you like bird watching. Izola is a few minutes away by bus or about an hour walk. Good for beach and seafood lunch.
I would like to thank the entire hotel team for the amazing service and warm welcome. The hotel has a unique room design and a perfect location, close to the sea and close to the city center. I definitely recommend visiting.
