I came to Jomtien to see someone I meet a year ago. I didn’t know where to stay I just knew I didn’t want to stay in Central Pattaya. This place is difference between night and day. I really liked this place. I liked this area so much I stayed an extra week here 😆. Now I’m in Bangkok reflecting on my trip and Jomtien was definitely the highlight of my trip.

Much quieter than Pattaya and beach cleaner.Plenty of bars,resteraunts ,coffee shops etc. Meals in bars and resteraunts appear to be more expensive than Pattaya.Generally bar price for drinks good San Miguel 60-80 baht. Plenty of free pool tables unlike Pattaya where most bars charge 20bht per game. More enjoyable environment than Pattaya.

Not far from the hotel, about 5 minutes walk, there is a HUGE outdoor food market. If you want to well and cheaply - this is the place to go! Not lited as an attraction on the Booking.com site - there is a MUST SEE place just a little way out of town. It's called the Sanctuary of Truth. It's a temple and a museum of sorts - and it's quite a spectacular building. Well worth a visit. Overall my stay was great. Some aspects of hotel are dated. One I would like to see upgraded is the shower head which did not give the best balanced mix of hot and cold water plus it was a fixed head whereas I like to have a flexible head with a hose.

Nice decor and everything was very clean. There was an infinity pool, bar and gym on the rooftop where you could catch amazing sunsets in the evening. Salt restaurant had a good selection of breakfast on their buffet. All staff were very helpful. Easy to get around by catching a Songthaew outside the hotel heading to Pattaya Central.
