We stayed at the Doubletree in Ifill in Aurora and it was a convenient location to the Wings Over the Rockies Museum (recommend), the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (recommend) and Stanley Marketplace (also recommend). Also, don't miss Blue Pan Pizza. We had the Detroit style pizza and I'm still thinking about it! Don't be put off by the crazy disinformation about Aurora. Everything was nice except the comfort inn booking it made my entire stay miserable. The hotel staff was very unprofessional and only. They were very ugly and there presentation gave me no other choice but to write this review. The room was a mess.
The room was a mess. The toilet did not flush, and the bathtub could not be filled due to not having anything to plug with nor have the little latch working to stop the water from draining. Everything in the room seemed to be falling apart. I went to the front desk to let them know the issues and the front desk assistant completely ignored me and moved on as if she did not hear my concern at all nor wanted to change me to another room. I felt like I was talking to a brick wall. I will not be staying at this location ever again and yes, I did take pictures and planning on contacting corporate.
