My wife, my son, and myself, are all Alumni of the University of Arkansas. So we have lived in Fayetteville on and off since 1980. As a Federal agent I moved my family 16 times after college and we finally settled back in Fayetteville in 1995. We lived in Fayetteville until 2015 and in that 20 years we saw unbelievable GROWTH in population and urban sprawl, but without the necessary and comparable infrastructure required for such an increase. My last trip (NOV 24') proved to be very unnerving and detestable with horrendous TRAFFIC and GRIDLOCK due to overcrowding and streets that were designed to handle the traffic of 30 years ago. So NO, even though I have many found memories of my life in Fayetteville, I wouldn't live there if you gave me a free home, and if one of my kids wasn't still living there, we'd probably NEVER go back. WPS!

It is not the easiest place to get around.
It is not the easiest place to get around. We used three different GPS navigation programs before we found one that worked efficiently in the area. We did go to the Farmers Market and First Thursday events organized by the local Experience Fay organization. We also visited the Sassafras Vineyard, Terra Studios, War Eagle Mill, Botanical Garden, Confederate Cemetery and the Dickson Street Bookshoppe. All were very nice.Regina - Scored 1010
Loved Fayetteville!
Loved Fayetteville! It's a very clean city with a lot going on. We enjoyed the vibe of Dickson Street and the college experience. It's proximity to so many outdoor activities is a major bonus. We come back again!

Somehow this this booking went through Booking.com. The ad said we did not have to pay until we arrived at the motel. I went ahead & prepaid. I got sick with the stomach virus at 2:00 in the morning that we were suppose to check in. I called & told them we could not come & please refund $. Girl stated she did not have authority to do that & I needed to call back in the afternoon. I called back that afternoon & they said there was no documentation that I call that morning & would not refund our money. I do not understand why you will not refund my $ when I was not required to prepay to begin with. If I had not prepaid I would not be out over $200.00.AAnonymous - Scored 2.02.0
