I went during the off season (early December). There were not a crowd of people either on the streets, the beach, or the shops. I enjoyed Ripley's Aquarium, Broadway at the beach and The Crazy Mason. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay.Scott - Scored 6.06.0

Went "off-season" so many restaurants were closed and some activities were shut down, but the low crowds and no traffic were a nice change from the busy summer season. So many great restaurants and golf courses to choose from make Myrtle Beach a great vacation destination.

Ripley's Believe It or Not was pretty cool.
Ripley's Believe It or Not was pretty cool. We didn't do much due to the cost of everything. It was VERY expensive. You had to pay to do everything! A funnel cake costs us $8.64 and a milkshake was almost $7.00. Very hard to have a lot of fun here with the cost of everything and with being a one-income family. It was too chilly to walk much on the beach. We did do Dino Park at $15.00 per person and it was NOT worth it at all. The lady was rude and it was obvious she didn't want to be there. Our daughter loves dinosaurs, but she wasn't impressed with this activity. The lady that worked there tried to charge us $9.00 for 2 sodas!!! Broadway at the Beach was ok. A lot of nice shops and stores, but very expensive. We wanted to do the aquarium, but at $175.00 for 4 people, it wasn't possible. Also, they wanted $80 for 4 of us to ride the sky wheel for only 2 rotations.....needless to say, that was a no also.Theresa

Lots and lots of golf activities as well. The beach was less that 6 minutes away. I was greatly pleased with the staff upon arrival. The rooms were good. The breakfast choice was good. Had a nice little sitting area in front near breakfast area(just like pics). Would stay again. The only name I was able to remember was Ella from housekeeping. Very nice and friendly..🙂
