The owners are very hospitable and make every effort to allow you to enjoy your stay. We went in summer but I can see how it would also be amazing in the winter! I hope we get to stay again.

Pé do Castelo Casinha is situated in Tomar, 37 km from Our Lady of Fatima Basilica, 36 km from Chapel of the Apparitions, as well as 46 km from Batalha Monastery. Everything was great. Our timing did not match up for Ana to meet us with the keys, but she left them in a hidden location, and was super communicative and friendly. She also kindly allowed us to leave our bags in the flat after check-out. The flat was simple, but had everything we needed. While we didn't cook in the kitchen, it looked well equipped, with the added bonus of a coffee machine with complimentary coffee pods. The flat is super central, 10 minutes from the bus/train stations, and 2 minutes from Praça da república. Overall a lovely stay.

This place is uniquely located next to historical Belmonte Castle. Owner is helpful and maintain very good communication to ensure smooth check in.
