Travelling as a solo female traveler can sometimes be intimidating but Rosa was delightful and made me feel like part of the family. I could not ask for a better host, she was kind, caring and an all round wonderful person. All round the service from everyone is some of the best I have ever experienced. The property perfect, rooms are spacious and cleaned to an impeccable standard. It is located in an ideal location if you have a car roads to the property are not narrow and there is parking on site. I will definitely be returning to the property and I look forward to seeing Rosa and her family again.

So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

It was very quiet and just relaxing to gaze at the outdoor scenery at any time. Everything was provided to ensure you the most memorable and pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. We got a tour of the whole property upon our arrival and breakfast was served in a picnic box on the bench outside our door. The staff was also friendly and helpful.

Casa de Campo Gracinda is a typical village natural stone house, restored to high and very tasteful standard. The rooms are warm and cosy with great on-suite facilities. The kitchen and lounge is very well equipped and comfortable. Unforunately our trip was accompanied by bad and cold weather, but the house was warm cosy and made more then up for it.

Situated in Meinedo, in a historic building, 37 km from Ducal Palace, Casa da Portela - Sem Igual is a country house with barbecue facilities and shared lounge. This country house has a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. The country house features facilities for disabled guests. Leila and Winemaker João were excellent hosts. Helpful in every way, gave us a fantastic tour of the vineyard, a tasting and accompanied us in the evening for a delicious meal. The residence and rooms are beautifully renovated, super cosy, clean and tastefully furnished. Also not too far from Porto. Delicious breakfast with a personal touch and 10 out of 10 for their smiles!
