The location is stunning overlooking the Dzong, the Bhutanese food was excellent, and the room was large with plenty of Bhutanese touches that make the place feel homely and welcoming, including some antique items in the rooms. The manager and team were friendly and warm, and all the food comes from their own garden. The dining area is especially beautifully done, in a traditionally Bhutanese style with views of the Dzong as you eat. The team agreed to serve us a super early breakfast at 5:30, served on the terrace outside - again with magnificent views of the Dzong. The owner's family offers the use of their private altar room to meditate. I would happily stay here again!

The BD Hotel se găsește în Thimphu și oferă un bar și un restaurant. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The room was clean and the bed felt great. The breakfast was huge and I could barely eat everything, and so you get plenty of energy for the day's activities. I like the fact that this hotel is located in a more residential/local business area instead of the regular tourist spots. You get a better feel of everyday life in Thimphu.

Next to a temple, the food is excellent, but most importantly the hosts are fantastic. After a 9 Hour drive, heading into a meeting, they brought me tea and cookies to make me feel better. I will definitely stay there again.

The host and staff are all very nice. Breakfast and food are also very good and affordable. Definitely would stay again.

It was clean, quiet, and everything was functional and orderly. Since the moment we entered the hotel and were greeting with a traditional drink, the owner and staff were more than attentive and accommodating. They helped us with everything: driving us to where we needed to go, helping plan activities, booking hotels in other cities, getting reservations at hot stone baths and more. The food was good and the coffee was also quite good. In all, we couldn't have asked for anything more.
