We loved every minute of our stay and the surrounding walks. Food was delicious and well priced. We loved the service and the cosiness of the cabins. It was one of our highlights of our whole Cabo Verde adventure.

This was our first stay on Santo Antao and Marco, who works at the front desk, helped us a ton with logistics and planning and answered our 1 million questions about Cape Verde/Santo Antao. He was super friendly and made us feel at home immediately! The breakfast here was also delicious, the rooms were spacious/clean/bright. A couple restaurants in the vicinity (including Casa Marajuca, which was recommended by a lot of websites and was great). The B&B is right by the ocean but our room had a lovely view of the central garden - we were woken by birds, greenery, and sunlight!

Featuring a garden, Casa da Djedja is located in Mindelo in the Sao Vicente region, 1.3 km from Praia Da Laginha and 600 metres from Torre de Belem. Patricia and her staff were amazing. They helped me book a guide to Santo Antao, made a dinner reservation, booked taxis when I needed them. The space is beautiful and well-maintained and the staff really take it up a notch.

We really enjoyed our stay at Palmeira Da Cruz. It's a small paradise at Cape Verde with all the luxuries you could want. Facilities are very beautiful, breakfast and dinner where delicious, and the hosts where so kind!!

I have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. The views from the public terrace of Sao Filipe are stunning. I stayed in the luxury room 10 two nights and it was so beautiful with a very high ceiling, a full two door window that opens to purple bougainvillea and the same gorgeous view as the terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

Beautiful hostel, with an amazing atmosphere, and Liana, who is the owner was amazing. From the food to advise about where to go and what to do. It was a great base to go hiking in the area, and we ended up staying for 5 days. Absolutely, wholeheartedly recommend to stay here!

Facing the beachfront, Barceló Praia Cape Verde offers 5-star accommodation in Praia and features a terrace, restaurant and bar. Very thing was great and perfect

Hotel Château Georgette in Pombas provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel features an indoor pool and room service and free WiFi throughout the property. This is probably the best hotel on the island of Santo Antao. The whole thing makes you feel like you're in a castle. The owner is very helpful, she takes care of every detail of your stay. Although my room wasn't perfect I got a better room for the same price - for which I am very grateful. From the hotel you have an ideal point for mountain hiking to any place. Breakfasts are very tasty, everyone will find something for themselves. Erick was very helpful and always smiling during meals. This is an amazing place and an amazing island. Obrigado!

Located in Mindelo, 1.2 km from Praia Da Laginha, Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel features a bar and views of the city. A hot tub and a car rental service are available for guests. Location, amenities, room and staff were all perfect. Right across from a grocery store and near the market. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Mindelo is a nice walkable little town.
