Eco Lodge is a beautiful place with several wonderful villas inside a beautiful courtyard or better to say park. Our villa was spacous and clean. There is no fridge in the room and hair dryer in the bathroom but it was not necessary for us. The lodge staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is available at the hotel, mostly continental and very tasty

Set in Nosy Be, a few steps from Ambondrona Beach, Swisscocobeach offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Probably the best place we stayed during our 3 weeks in Madagascar. Great room on 1. floor with aircon, fan, safe, beautiful view of the sea, perfect balcony. Nice pool. The restaurant has good food, but there are also a few other options along the beach. Wifi comes and goes. Like in most (all?) hotels on Nosy Be, the aircon is run on the island's el supply, not the generator, so it doesn't work all the time.

The whole place was stunning. Big room, wonderfully decorated, very friendly staff, comfortable bed, nice restaurant, great pool with views, close to the airport.

The Citizen in Antananarivo provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a restaurant and a bar. Good location in an area, where one can walk around. Phantastic view over the town with lake Anosy in the foreground and in November Jacaranda trees in bloom - seen from our balcony or the restaurant's terrace. Very friendly staff, except for one lady at the restaurant. Enough space for storage in room, good bed, writing desk. Free bottle of water. Only three rooms in total. Quiet at night. Balcony with table and two chairs. Mosquito net over the bed (not needed). Good, simple breakfast, served on the terrace with eggs on request, with fruit juice, croissants, brioche, jam, butter. Very good restaurant, where we tried Malgasy dishes.

The food, service, location, and amenities were all wonderful. Really, the best thing was the staff. Everyone there was friendly and helpful, and made our stay there so pleasant.

Set in Fianarantsoa, 1.7 km from Fianarantsoa Train Station, Tsara Guest House offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Everything was perfect. It is a very high standard considering what I have seen so far in Madagascar in terms of accomodation. Price is quite fair. Big bed, spacious room. The owner was there when I arrived and helped me with finding the taxi brousse station. Excellent from beginning to end.

Located near Djamandjara on Nosy Be, Hotel Mahita Tsara is a 5-minute walk from the beach and set above the village of Cocotiers. It offers air conditioning and a restaurant. The staff is incredible. So accommodating and attentive. The view from the room is spectacular. I love the fact they serve meals on the balcony of the room, it felt extremely luxurious. They also organized everything we needed, from drivers to tours. Truly impeccable service

Résidence Le Hublot features rooms in Antananarivo near Lake Anosy and Andafiavaratra Palace. Wonderful host. Room was very large. Best shower and best Wi-Fi I we experienced in 4 weeks of Madagascar. Rooms had good lighting. Location very good - close to restaurants and short walk to Analakay market. Beatrice tres bien host

Situated in Nosy Be, a few steps from Djamanjary Beach, Le Moya Beach features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Fantastisk personale, veldig god mat, rent og ryddig, lite insekter på rommet, relativt svale rom da de ligger under palmer. Bodde fler andre steder der bungalowene sto midt i solsteika.. Rene gulvvifter som du kan plassere som du ønsker, så her går det greit å bo uten aircondition. Dzamanzar er en veldig fin strand med hyggelig lokalbefolkning å den fineste solnedgangen på øya etter min mening. Fint å jogge på ettermiddagen/morgenen. Luftig å fin resturant, bassenget er stort nok til å svømme. Gode på å organisere turer med guide til en god pris og resepsjonisten snakker engelsk, nederlansk, fransk og italiensk, de øvrige ansatte gjorde sitt ytterste for å forstå oss. Vi lærte av hverandre :-)
