Khan River Lodge is a secluded location, wild and highly scenic, surrounded by private land. It is about 20 km off the B2 road, which we did not quite realize until we got there. The drive itself is a lot of fun, as we saw lots of wildlife, but it is a mix of sand and dirt, challenging for smaller cars without 4WD. The property is cozy, with only about six double-occupancy units, of which we were occupying two (we were traveling as two adults and two older children). The "restaurant" is the lodge kitchen: two wonderful ladies preparing delicious meals and serving them in style. There is no posted menu, but the daily food offerings are artfully presented and tasty, based on local produce and meat. We did not realize we would be the only guests -- and we booked the self-catering option, counting on eating at the restaurant. We had booked self-catering options in other locations, but never realized how remote this one was. Upon arrival, we learned that the expectation for "self-catering" was that we would bring our own food and not need the restaurant. Since the property was just opening after the New Year holiday, they had to scramble a bit, but were kind enough to accommodate (read: feed) us. We loved the meals and the ambiance, the quiet, the lack of light pollution at night, the variety of wildlife roaming around the property, and the laid-back atmosphere -- self-service honesty bar, well-stocked and open to us at all hours.

Located in Sesriem, 43 km from Sesriem Canyon, Little Sossus Lodge provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Great place to stay if you are visiting Sesriem. The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable to accommodate a family with kids. The staff is excellent and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay (kudos specially to Paul on this). Food is also very good and quality and the kitchen staff make sure all your dietary requirements are considered.

Bagatelle Kalahari Boutique Farmhouse Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and bar in Mariental. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. We loved every moment from arrival to departure. All the members of the staff were very welcoming and took a good care of our group. We were served delicious dinner, very good breakfast. The view was beautiful. Accommodation lodges are huge, luxury and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Our Habitas Namibia is a sanctuary located on a 47,000-hectare private estate, 45 minutes from Hosea Kutako International Airport. It features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. Excellent breakfast and staff. Everything very organized and clean. Nice yoga classes. Amazing room and view. The safari was excellent. We saw lots of giraffes and animals. Everybody at the property always polite and helpful. Strongly recommended.

SAROA Safari Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Nina. This 4-star hotel offers room service, luggage storage space and free WiFi. The peace and quiet. You really get to relax and enjoy nature.

Boasting a garden, Kuvira River Camp is set in Divundu and also provides a terrace and a bar. Guests can enjoy river views. All guest rooms at the hotel come with a seating area. Anton and his father were local teachers. When Anton's father retired, the villages gave him a piece of land on the river to build this resort. They hire local staff and operate a river cruise to see hippos, and maybe crocs. They do a fantastic job! High recommend this place!

Located in Swakopmund, 400 metres from The Mole Beach, Atlantic Garden Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a bar. Although we had to leave early in the morning, they made breakfast for us and brought it to us. They also told me about recommended restaurants and things to be careful about when sightseeing.

Out of Africa Town Lodge features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Otjiwarongo. Providing a bar, the property is located within 1.8 km of Otjiwarongo Crocodile Ranch. Very nice place., good food, great service.

Situated in Windhoek, within less than 1 km of Alte Feste Museum and a 11-minute walk of Warehouse Theatre, Tenbergen Pension Hotel features accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi throughout... The staff at the front desk was super friendly and very helpful! The rooms are big and clean with a very comfortable bed. Huge TV has much more channels that you can go through! :) Breakfast was also great! I think this is the best place to stay in town when you compare what you pay and what you get! :)
