The hotel is in a great location, with many sights, restaurants, bars and shops close-by. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The beds are comfortable, the mattresses are of medium hardness. The bathroom is spacious, the shower has great water pressure. The hotel has 3 onsite restaurants, I tried the brasserie which was good but there are also a number of other good restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. Don't miss the hotel spa, which has 5 different types of saunas a decent pool and a seawater hot tub, not too mention the great treatments, cosmetic products etc. Breakfast is amazing as well.

This stay was a gift to a newly wedded couple who asked for sharing this review (I'm just the messenger, the proud sister and sister-in-law :) ): Even though we stayed at the hotel for a short time (one night only), we immediately fell in love with it. From the spacious and clean room we had a wonderful view of the fjord, which stood out especially in the morning at sunrise. The breakfast was also excellent and faultless. We really liked the willingness and kind attitude of the hotel staff, who always had a smile on their faces.

Thon Hotel Svolvær in Svolvær features 5-star accommodation with a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Private parking is available on site. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. Ideally located next to Hurtigruten arrival, town and taxi rank. Breakfast was exceptional.

Scenically set by the Oppstrynsvatnet Fjord, the family-owned Hjelle Hotel rests in a lush garden surrounded by mountains. Jostedalsbreen National Park is 5 km away. The Hjelle hotel has a long history and the stroy behind each room is quite interesting. It seems like we stayed in the room which belonged to one of the main female founders of this hotel. The current owner is very hospitable and helpful. The room itself is very clean and cozy , with a great view of green fields and lake. We all love it! If only got chance, I will not hesitate to spend a two or three days vacation here.
