The staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. They always try their best to make us feel comfortable and help to answer all of our questions. The management team is very responsive. They even helped to recommend tour agencies and drivers when we were planning our itineraries. The resort is helping women to get quality job. The resort is very close to the headquarter of Volcanoes National Park, just a 20 minutes drive, so we get to prepare our activities in the Park with ease. The kitchen of the hotel is pretty nice too, as a vegan, they provide me a lot of options.

The staff was exceptional! They were extremely friendly and took very good care of me. I considered going to a larger chain because it was my first time in Kigali and I was concerned about safety and that I wouldn’t get the service I’d receive from a brand such as Marriott or Hilton. They far more than exceeded my expectations. I feel I enjoy this experience much more than I generally enjoy my experience at larger brands. The personal touch I received was so welcoming and the location was phenomenal. I could walk everywhere and be right in the midst of all the action.

Astonishing view, once in a life time - volcanoes, lake, islands, fisher boats... Such idyllic almost unbelievable scenery. Perfect communication with the owner before arriving, he solved any details of the travelling to there. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are simple yet convenient. I staid in rooms, not in a tent and i am perfectly satisfied. No mosquito problems in the room. Food is also simple but tasty.

Akagera Ihema lodges mempunyai taman, teres, restoran dan bar di Akagera. "Akagera Ihema Lodges" is an absolutely unique, superb place located in a stunning, heavenly location. The rooms (lodges), with a breathtaking view, are extremely clean, very well-equipped and furnished with great taste (the same counts for the restaurant, bar and reception area). All Staff are extremely courteous, very helpful and multilingual (English, French, Kinyarwanda and more). Food is exquisite and coffee is delectable too. An absolute gem looming over the Akagera Park! I will definitely visit again - Murakoze cyane and Congratulations!

I really loved my stay on the island! I stayed for 3 days and it was nice and relaxing. Amazingly enough, I was the only guest the entire time I was there! The owners were wonderful and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and treated me like family. Big shout out to my main man Jean, the manager! He went above and beyond to make sure I had a memorable stay and is a great friend! The food, service and off island experiences were fantastic (Jean is an excellent tour guide and has tons of incredible side trips for you!) The island itself is beautiful and full of life. If you want to have a unique experience in nature, yet enjoy the luxury and comfort of home, then this is the perfect place for you! For me this was the experience of a lifetime! Book yourself a few days at very least, you won’t regret it!
