The staff were absolutely amazing and could not do enough to make my stay supreme! The front desk staff were a highlight! The location is great, close to the ferry terminal and Tai’s market and also on several microlet routes! There is an old world feel about the place with beautiful rooms and shared spaces and a lobby where you can watch the world go by The breakfast was a great mix of western and Asian and there was plenty to fill you up for the day!! 5 stars!

Situated in Dili, 2.5 km from Areia Branca Beach, M Y hotel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. I had a wonderful stay at M Y Hotel. All of the staff and the owner were so friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. The room was cleaned as often as I wanted and there was also a laundry service (which was included in the price) My room had a sizeable balcony with a view of the sea and a table and chairs. The room was also a good size and the bed very comfortable. There is a pool that is big enough to do short laps Although I didn't go scuba diving, this hotel is very much geared towards visitors who want to dive. Daily boat trips for diving with PADI trained instructors are available.

Balibo Fort Hotel is situated in Balibo and features an outdoor swimming pool. There is a restaurant serving American cuisine, and free private parking is available. Balibo Fort Hotel is a truly unique travel experience, the quality of stay was like nothing else we experienced in Timor Leste. The rooms themselves are modern, very clean and wonderfully decorated, whilst being surrounded by elements of the fort. The pool was an absolute highlight, with wonderful views of the local mountain ranges. The food was excellent, and there is a huge breakfast. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, it was so lovely to see so many young people getting experience in hospitality. The hotel is in very close proximity to the Australian Flag House/Museum, and there is a wonderfully kept museum onsite at the entrance gateway, with a broader focus on Timor Leste's history.
