In middle of largest shopping center in country, with groceries, restaurants, a cinema, and even a medical clinic. Buffet breakfast every morning, lunch and dinner at rooftop fine-dining restaurant. Staff all speak English and are exceptionally warm and helpful. Free shuttle bus to and from airport. Taxis and mikrolets stop right in front of the hotel. I plan on staying here on my next trip to Dili. Only other competing hotel is the Hilton when it opens, but that surrounding neighborhood is not wonderful and has few if any restaurants or shops.

Balibo Fort Hotel is a truly unique travel experience, the quality of stay was like nothing else we experienced in Timor Leste. The rooms themselves are modern, very clean and wonderfully decorated, whilst being surrounded by elements of the fort. The pool was an absolute highlight, with wonderful views of the local mountain ranges. The food was excellent, and there is a huge breakfast. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, it was so lovely to see so many young people getting experience in hospitality. The hotel is in very close proximity to the Australian Flag House/Museum, and there is a wonderfully kept museum onsite at the entrance gateway, with a broader focus on Timor Leste's history.

Offering a luxurious outdoor pool with a spa pool and a swim-up bar, Novo Turismo Resort & Spa is located in Dili. Free WiFi access is available. Excellent staff who provided great service. The facilities were very good.

Hotel Esplanada erbjuder 3-stjärnigt boende vid stranden i Dili och har utomhuspool, trädgård och terrass. The pool is nice and the yoga class in the morning. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Sunset INN by Pro-Ema ligger i Dili och har en bar. Detta hotell med 3 stjärnor har en restaurang samt luftkonditionerade rum med gratis WiFi och eget badrum. Enthusiastic staff, eager to help guests, location, excellent internet speed. Everyone at the hotel is so polite and hard working. Communication for airport pickup is responsive. Driver, double as tour guide, is outstanding. Hotel has an excellent restaurant (closed on Sunday), and a cafe (closed on Tuesday) next door. There’s also a very good and budget friendly Chinese restaurant 50 steps away, with a menu thick as a phone book. You will never go hungry staying here. Now the most important issue to me, and for many others, is the notorious internet connection in Dili. Well, they seem to have it fixed as the country is working hard to cater to international tourism. Many new constructions and modern hotels are being built (with Chinese investment). The internet is as fast and reliable as that at Hilton in Bali. It’s a total surprise! I totally recommend this hotel!

Cooked Breakfast was a great way to start the day. The hotel also had a pool and gym that was well maintained and inviting. Management and staff were always eager to help with any requests and the service we received was exceptional, always happy and took the time to say hello.
