I stayed for three nights, breakfast is amazing and different every morning. Boasting a garden and a terrace, Dar ALOUINI is situated in Kairouan. An indoor swimming pool and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. it was fantastic. inside the city walls a beautiful dar with tasteful decoration and furnishings. I slept so well that I missed my wake up time. staff could not have been more helpful and a delicious spread for breakfast. do not miss The Roman ruins of Dougga

This traditional Tunisian house is located in Tozeur city centre, on the edge of the desert and a few steps from the salt lake, Chott El Djerid. It offers a hammam and modern rooms. This is a lovely hotel in Tozeur right in the town centre but on a quiet street. The design mixes traditional brickwork with modern decor all in desert tones and was very lovely. The staff was excellent and spoke great English and were helpful. We booked a tour to the oasis areas through them and that was excellent too - the driver had a nice SUV and drove safely. We thought the breakfast was great - fruit, dates, a basket of breads and pastries, homemade jams and honey, eggs, yogurt, juice and coffee - nothing to complain about as it was quite delicious and served on a lovely patio.
