Travelling alone in Uganda can be quite a challenge, I felt at home at Gkat resort.

The rooms were luxurious...huge bathroom with bath, huge balcony with beautiful views, big and comfortable bed. We had full board option and the food was excellent and plentiful. Attention to detail...drink on arrival, ensure we had everything ready for gorillas trek, turn down beds with hot water bottles, fruit in room, clean shoes after the trek.. etc Location was only 10 minutes away from start of gorilla trek so extra sleep in

The overall feeling in these roundhouses was very unique african. Also the wooden building style of the dining place was very special. Welcome drink with fresh juice. Dinner and breakfast were rich and very tasty. Staff is exceptionally friendly. The young guide to the falls exactly knew how to adjust the program to us.

Staff was supper helpful and nice specially Benjamin. The beds were comfortable and very well decorated room with water machine and net for the bugs. We liked it so much we ended up staying another night.
