The hotel is right on the nicest part of the beach ( a 30 second walk from bedroom to the beach) and has the nicest beds and palapas when compared to the other hotels. The rooms were spotless, really clean and had great air conditioning. The room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels and beach towels were given every day also. Food and drinks were delicious and the staff were really friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent and generous portions. Staff couldn’t do enough for you - they absolutely made the place. As a young group of girl travellers who were concerned about safety, we felt so safe and secure here and at ease knowing we were in good hands. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, it is genuinely a slice of heaven - we will definitely be back!

They have gated parking for your car just across the street. The staff and the manager will do anything to make your stay as great as possible. Rooms are nice with movable beds. Food is great. Wifi is excellent. The beach is nice to spend the day. You have a couple of good restaurants in walkable distance.

Facing the beachfront, Villas Caracol offers 4-star accommodation in Holbox Island and features an outdoor swimming pool, garden and private beach area. This hotel is beautiful, well located and very well designed. The restaurant is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The lay-out of the outdoor spaces with the pool surrounded by trees, the seating area and then the beach makes it private but accessible at the same time. There a many amnesties made available to the guests, which we used every day. We booked the whale shark excursion through the hotel which they did well (although the excursion itself is very expensive).

Offering a garden and garden view, Elements of the Island is located in Isla Mujeres, 200 metres from Norte Beach and 300 metres from El Cocal Beach. Guests can benefit from a patio and a sun terrace.... The staff and location were great. Close to the beach and the main shopping and restaurant. They had fresh bottle water in the apartment, umbrella for the beach, and the balcony and air condition were wonderful.

This family-run hotel is located in front of the beach on the beautiful Holbox Island, just off Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. It offers an outdoor pool, hot tub and stylish hut-style rooms. This was the highlight of our weeks in Yucatan. What an oasis! Breakfast was amazing. Multiple courses, very good coffee. We enjoyed that so much. The beds at the beach were super comfortable. Absolutely relaxing here. Ludmila who facilitates the yoga and cacao ceremony is a gem.

Located on the coast of Xcalacoco Beach 10 minutes outside of Playa del Carmen, this luxury resort and spa situated in the tropical rainforest features a restaurant. Wonderful cabins, excellent service, very tasty cuisine. Everything was great!
