Clean and comfortable. It has everything needed. Good location and the staff is very nice, even when you don't see them. Full of small details like chocolates, candies and coffee always available. They leave some breakfast bread at the door of your room every morning, which was an unexpected detail that made us happy.

Enjoying a quiet yet central location, the Hotel Mercure Salzburg City is the ideal starting point for both business and sightseeing trips in Mozart’s home town. Lovely hotel. Room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast tasty and good variety. Staff very helpful and friendly. Not far from the old town for the Christmas markets. On the number 2 bus route from the airport, only 40 mins ride.

Hotel Vogelweiderhof ligger langs hovedveien i utkanten av Salzburg, og er fra tidlig på 1900-tallet. Hotellet har gratis WiFi på alle rommene samt avgiftsfri, privat parkering. Veldig rent rom. Bra frokost. Kjempegod kaffe!!

The Holiday Inn Salzburg City, an IHG Hotel, is only a 10-minute walk away from the Mirabell Gardens and a 15-minute walk from the Old Town. We had probably the best room of the hotel - a corner room on the top floor facing the mountains. Two of the walls had ceiling height windows giving us a panoramic view. The hotel is about 1.4 km from the city centre, and is easily walkable. The bus stands are also close by, which connect you to all the sites that one can visit. Breakfast spread is elaborate, even for vegetarians.
