Boutique Hotel Evmolpia is set in a traditional Bulgarian Rennaissance house in the heart of Plovdiv Old Town, and just a 2-minute walk from Kapana District. At first I was a little offended by being asked the name of my companion and car tag number. The Old Town is an exclusive area. As we followed the GPS we approached a barrier BUT the barrier lifted and we continued driving. As we arrived our host greeted us and showed us in. On a quaint looking chalkboard across the room our names were written in chaulk "WELCOME Frank and Betty"...the need for both names and tag number became apparent. Very welcoming.

Perfect location in the center of Plovdiv. Very spacious apartment and the most comfortable mattress we have slept on. Hosts were incredibly sweet and breakfast was amazing - we tried the homemade banitsa with potatoes and the traditional one with cheese. 10/10 highly recommend! :)
