Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The buffet breakfast starts from 6 AM through 10:30 AM which is very well prepared with delicious baked croissants and breads, fresh preserves and butter, hot porridge and various roasted vegetables, mushrooms, cold cuts, various cheeses, yogurts, fresh and dry fruits and nuts...of course various coffee and teas. The location is very convenient which is one tram stop from the train station and walking distance to the City Center. We had the Small Charming Room which it's true to its name. We had wonderful time and extended our staying because we had such a nice time!

Located within 50 metres of Messe Basel and 1.1 km of Blue and White House, Bloom Hotel & Bar in Basel provides a bar and rooms with free WiFi. My friend and I really enjoyed staying at Bloom. Lovely rooms. Great breakfast. Very helpful staff, they even couriered my friends phone to us when she accidentally left it behind.
