Located in Locarno, within 5.1 km of Golfclub Patriziale Ascona and 38 km of Lugano Station, Smart Hotel Binario offers accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property. great location: two minutes from the Funicular, and another 5 to the main square. the hotel is literally next to the train station, but it’s very quiet hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. the hotel is very modern.

The room we had was large. The bed was really comfortable. Liked having the kettle in the room to make a hot drink when first getting moving in the morning. The breakfast offered up a good variety of options.

The staff are really what made us love the place, and want to come back, but the rooms are super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our patio was so great, and the location in the lake can’t be beat.

Hotel la Palma au Lac is situated on the beautiful lake promenade of Locarno, a few steps from the city centre. All rooms provide a TV, a safe and a private bathroom. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choices and everything fresh. The staff was very accommodating, even bringing coffee to the table despite having coffee machines available. The breakfast hours were also convenient. The room had everything we needed—clean, spacious, and comfortable. The spa was fantastic, very relaxing, and open during convenient hours. On our last day, we wanted to visit the spa earlier, and they kindly arranged it for us. The location was excellent, and since we visited at the end of September, it wasn’t too crowded. Overall, a very nice experience.

Completely renovated in 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto is located in front of the train station, 1-minute walk distance from all alle the public transport and the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso. Having safe secure bicycle storage was important and really appreciated this feature.
