This is an exceptionally warm and welcoming establishment, attractive and comfortable. Breakfast: Many offerings presented buffet-style, plus individual requests prepared such as hot cereal, eggs.

Acest hotel frumos, recent renovat, este situat în centrul oraşului, aproape de oraşul vechi Locarno, cu faimoasa Piazza Grande şi lacul Maggiore, cu promenada sa de pe mal. It’s within walking distance to the railway station, the ferry terminal and also a self serve laundromat. Breakfast was plentiful and all the staff were friendly and made our stay more enjoyable.

Set on the lakeshore promenade of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Geranio Au Lac is only 100 metres from the Locarno Train Station and the city centre. It offers a breakfast buffet. Not far from train station where we got off. A beautiful location on the lakefront. Room was spacious, a balcony. Breakfast was provided and we enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony. Staff were lovely.

Completely renovated in 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto is located in front of the train station, 1-minute walk distance from all alle the public transport and the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso. The gentleman working the check in, breakfast and everything else (I apologize but I can't remember his name) was FABULOUS and so helpful and kind! Give that man a raise!!!
