Set within the centre of Lugano, Hotel Pestalozzi is only 150 metres away from the shores of Lake Lugano. Free Wi-Fi is available. The location. It’s walkable to the lake, the shopping areas, with busses passing in front of the hotel. The rooms were clean and roomy with a balcony that is high-up that you see the whole town and mountains and are beautiful at night. Bathroom is clean. Breakfast in the morning is typical of the area but the fresh coffee is good, shout-out to Claudio, he is a gem and very attentive.

Situated on the lake promenade near the traffic-free centre of Lugano, Hotel Walter Au Lac offers you rooms with superb lake views. WiFi is free of charge. All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. I booked two interconnecting rooms. Both rooms had amazing views! The view of lake was amazing ! Rooms were comfortable and very clean! We also enjoyed the breakfast included in our stay. This hotel would be our first choice when visiting Lugano!

TOP TOP TOP Location! 2 minutes from the lake and the center, 5 minutes from public parking Motta (I left the car there). Staff was very polite. Room was awesome, clean, comfortable, bathroom was superb, wifi was excellent, check-in/out was easy. All was perfect. Thank you!

This family-owned hotel is centrally located just a short walk from Lugano town centre and its breathtaking lakeshore, and the famous Piazza Riforma with its many sidewalk cafés. We stayed in a studio room. It was well lit, spacious, and clean, and had a spacious bathroom. There were a lot of utensils and dishes, toilet paper, bags, and paper towels. The closet was comfortable, and there was a safe. The location is very convenient: it's close to the downtown and to the train station. However, it's a steep slope from the downtown to the hotel and from the hotel to the train station. The staff is very responsive.
