This boutique hotel is directly located in Hamburg city centre, a 1-minute walk from the Neuer Wall shopping street and a 5-minute walk from the Jungfernsteig. It is exceptionally good. Location, rooms, restaurants, bar, staff, everything was great.

The MADISON Hotel Hamburg is located in central Hamburg, just 200 metres from the St. Michaelis Church. It offers large studios, a stylish bar, and a restaurant serving international food. We had a great stay at The Madison! The room and bathroom were among the larger ones we've had in Europe, and there was nice counter space in the bathroom as well. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms and public spaces were clean. Dinner at Marley's Restaurant was so good the first night that we ate there again the second night (Thai coconut soup, Caesar salad, chicken Singapore, and creme brulee were all delicious). The parking garage was easy to find with decent sized spaces, although some were blocked off due to the concrete breaking up (arriving between 5-6 pm on a Friday, there were multiple spaces available). The location was walkable to every place we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to others.

Everything, except Gala dinner, chef was terrible and his 5 course meal was also a disaster. we left starving at new years eve, and paid 300 usd per person!!!! other than that everything and staff was great

This 5-star hotel is located on the Alster Lake in the heart of Hamburg. The Fairmont Hamburg offers gourmet cuisine, free WiFi and a luxury spa and fitness club. The service and the politeness of all the employees. There is still an old fashioned attitude about the hotel which is very refreshing

Nastanitev Villa Viva - ein Haus das Brunnen baut se nahaja v mestu Hamburg, manj kot 1 km od znamenitosti Razstava Dialog im Dunkeln, in ponuja storitve concierge, sobe za nekadilce, teraso,... This property is literally 5 minutes from the main rail station and about 20 minutes walk from the beautiful Speicherstadt, harbor, canals, and Elbphilharmonie. So, perfect location, along with tiny, but well laid out, spotless rooms (loved the bathroom wallpaper) and a really amazing rooftop bar. (See the photo of a tiny portion of the view from the bar…) Oh, and the staff? SO pleasant and patient. Really delightful. We didn’t try the breakfast but the breakfast area looked pleasant and there’s a comfortable place at the corner of the lobby to wait for friends. (PLUS a popcorn maker — which I only found as we were leaving, but I might have to come back, just to try it.) All this coupled with the most affordable rate (I could find) among any of the listed hotels in the area. Trust me, when we come back to Hamburg, we’ll stay here.
