Situated in the Old Town district, only 200 metres from Town Hall Wernigerode, Boutique-Hotel Anno 1910 features express check-in and check-out, a wine bar, and a terrace. Excellent stay. Located in the old city in the heart of Wernigerode. Beautiful place and building. Rooms are cozy and spacious, nicely designed. Very well renovated. Breakfast was very good with lots of things to choose from, freshly prepared eggs. We would recommend and come back for sure.

The Tanne is located in the heart of Wernigerode and served as a rest stop/inn for carters, horse-riding messengers and servants of Wernigerode Castle as early as 1753. Comfortable beds, amazing shower, great location and tasty breakfast. Couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!

This traditional 4-star hotel, dating from 1717, features underground parking, family rooms and a sauna that can be used free of charge. Excellent! Love the availability of fresh fruit.

This stylish, welcoming hotel is located only 100 metres from the historical city of Wernigerode’s Old Town, 600 metres from the train station, and surrounded by the beautiful Harz mountains. My family really enjoyed the stay in this hotel. Modern, clean and comfortable, with amazing view from our window to the city and castle. Friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. Central location. City parking right next to the hotel. Special thanks for the baby bed, although it was not supposed to be offered. I highly recommend.

Hotel superior bertaraf 4 bintang di Dataran Pasar Wernigerode yang bersejarah ini menggabungkan hiasan moden dan bersejarah. I'm giving this location 10 stars because I feel like Europeans would find it so - it's a cultural thing as an American to expect different levels of comfort. However, I found our room to be rather cramped and the last room on the top floor, the furthest away from the lobby in what might have originally been the attic - the windows were dormered. The beds were spartan in that sleeping on them was like sleeping on stone. My hips began aching by the third day. The pillows were meager, half size. I had to ask twice before they brought us some extras but in the hotel's defense, my German is deplorable, so it's quite possible I couldn't make myself understood. The bathroom was pretty much the same as any hotel in the US, very small - the bathtub and shower felt like bathing in a coffin. I feel like many of these complaints wouldn't bother most Europeans: they're tougher than Americans are at this point. So I didn't really dock the hotel any points on my ratings for the uncomfortable aspects of the rooms. The breakfast was amazing, and my son and I really enjoyed it every morning. The hotel was perfectly located. We're not Christmas people, so when we booked we had thought the location would be rather empty but to our surprise it was Christmas Market and teeming with people. The parking situation was overly complicated and rather expensive in my mind (16 euros per day) but once again, American coming into a situation with expectations that are probably culturally inappropriate. The bar was nice and relatively affordable and Andreas the bartender was a highlight.
