A contemporary boutique guest house set in a Georgian townhouse, Number 38 Clifton offers stylish rooms with views of the Clifton Downs or Bristol city centre. Everyone and everything. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I adored it. The hotel knew I was having trouble finding it, and one of the team members, a kind gentleman, greeted me even though it was contactless as he was "only next door" and could come by. He could not have been nicer. While offering, he just grabbed my luggage and showed me my room, which was gorgeous. I have stayed in many hotels worldwide; this is one of the most cozy but elegant, relaxed, charming rooms I have ever stayed in. You don't want to leave, but they were nice enough to book me dinner at one of the restaurants they recommended nearby. After I came down, the gentleman told me he would walk with me to the restaurant because it would be easier. What was the last time that happened to you? I felt like a lucky child being cared for, and I enjoyed the chat as we walked. After a great dinner, I returned and bathed in the zinc tub. After a long day and flights, I love a bath, but this was unique and deep. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. They also have a great shower, so it is not either\or... It was fantastic, but everything and every detail was well thought out, so the cohesive whole was terrific. Their breakfast choices were exceptional but also had the standards and were tasty, with quality jams and tea. But what makes it stand out is they get hospitality. It's not just that the hotel is beautiful, but it's hip without any attitude and friendly. The personal art collection the owner shares raises the interiors to a whole new level. It's everything you want and is not a carbon copy of every hotel. It's why you want to stay in a small boutique hotel, but the service is first class, the people love to work there, and it shows because they work from the heart, make you feel welcome, and you don't want to leave as it offers excellent value and a wonderful haven.

Victoria Square Hotel Clifton Village is set on a leafy Georgian square in fashionable Clifton Village. It is located 1 mile from Bristol's centre. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. It was not the first time that I stayed at this hotel and I could appreciate it once more. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The day I arrived it was extremely hot and I arrived in a time frame in which check-in was still not possible (it is available from 3 pm). Nevertheless, the woman in the back office (I regret not asking her name) saw that the room I booked was already available and I could access it in advance. Everyone was really nice also when I asked for an invoice for my institution, as it was a work-related trip. When I asked for an additional towel I was provided with one immediately. The room was really nice, no AC but two windows ensured enough breeze (it was the beginning of June). The day of check out I was able to leave my luggage and pick it up at a later time.

Set above Avon Gorge, this hotel overlooks Brunel's famous suspension bridge. It has a large terrace for al fresco dining with excellent views. Friendly first class hotel. Clifton village interesting

Channings Hotel is set Bristol's Clifton district and within half a mile of Clifton Down and the famous suspension bridge. This traditional hotel features a large beer garden and a bar. The breakfast was Suprême! The hotel is quite old, but has everything I need. The British pub is excellent!

The Washington is a Grade 2 Listed building, less than a mile from Bristol city centre and is a 5-minute walk from Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. Very convenient. Lovely room, delightful decor. Nice breakfast

Centrally-located in the historic village of Clifton, in Bristol, this small hotel is a few minutes walk away from the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, the University of... Lue was very friendly and welcoming at the front desk! Really made my stay at The Rodney Hotel an extremely pleasant experience. Toni made sure the rooms were perfect! Thanks to both! OYO the Regency, Clifton Bristøl is a Grade II listed building, situated 600 metres from Bristol University and 800 metres from Clifton College. I liked the staff. Everyone was very kind
