Just a 5-minute drive from the foot of Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain, the Alexandra Hotel offers free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi in public areas. The location was excellent. Right next to the train and bus station. Lots of restaurants around. The room was cosy and nice. The bathroom was big, and everything was cleaned every day. There was a problem with the bolier the first morning, but theybsort it out fairly quickly during the day, and after that, everything worked jurt fine, and heating in the room was perfect. Breakfast was great because it was buffet style and had a wide selection of food, including vegetarian options The hotel is old, but I think that it is pretty well maintained, and it has its own charm. I would stay here again.

Surprisingly quiet given the location. Birdsong was a bonus - as was watching the Jacobite steam train depart in the morning (not too early). Highly recommend this place. Also - the bed was so comfortable it felt like home. Comfortable and charming.

MacLean Guest House offers room-only accommodation located on the main road and is less than 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and train and bus stations. Great place to stay if you are passing through. The room was spacious enough for all our luggage but no elevators obviously because it’s a house none the less it had cute decor with the highland cows all over. Brandy was there to greet us when we arrived. Great location, walking distance to some restaurants. They have parking which is a plus! Would stay here again.
