My friend and I stayed at Hotel Aiguille Noire while doing the Tour de Mont Blanc (TMB). We could not have chosen a better place to stay. This hotel has been in the same family for four generations, which results in a great deal of care and effort. Our check in was easy, our room was spacious and comfortable (and even had a balcony), and the front lawn was perfect for an afternoon drink after hiking all day. Every person we encountered was kind and generous with their time. One of the owners even called a refuge for my friend and I to ensure we had a place to stay the next night on our trek. We feel so lucky that we were able to spend some time at this hotel. It was absolutely wonderful!

Hotel Vallèe Blanche is a pretty building, located 700 metres from the new Skyway Monte Bianco cable car and 3 km from Courmayeur. Buses for Val Ferret, Courmayeur and the slopes stop 50 metres away. Set right at the foot of Mont Blanc, Auberge de La Maison offers a wellness centre and a romantic restaurant where you can enjoy a candlelit meal with a view. Incredible location, very nice room, breakfast was top notch and the restaurant at night was also very good

Great, helpful, efficient staff (Tommaso and others), spectacular mountain views, well-appointed room with a huge terrace and very comfy beds, the Monte Bianco Skyway right next door, etc. When booking I was a little worried about the location next to the huge car of the Skyway, but it wasn’t a problem at all - not noisy, the views unblocked and amazing.
