First of all - private onsen is an amazing experience if you look for more privacy - we spent hours inside. Second - what booking doesn't tell you - dinner is actually a multiple course Michelin - like experience, changed every day to different courses. We had many delicious plates that we tried for the first time. Breakfast has both japanese and western options, both really tasty as well. And last but not least - the hotel provides transport to the nearest stations (bus/train/rope) from which, especially with Hakone pass, you can explore the whole area. And of course the service is top quality. Definitely worth the price

The staff are extremely nice, understanding and polite. The room is very clean and they would change the private onsen water daily if you would like so. The breakfast and dinner are excellent - tasty and huge portion. Will definitely stay at Fufu if we visit Hakone again.

I arrived without any plans for my stay, but once I asked for recommendations, they went above and beyond to help me plan and discover the area. Their guidance made my trip so much more enjoyable!. Plus, I had the best dinner experience—delicious food and a great atmosphere that perfectly complemented my stay.

Situated in Hakone, 500 metres from Hakone Gora Park, Hakone Yutowa features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Loved it. Very homey. Great amenities. Free beer, softdrinks and snacks in the evening. Library with Manga. Play area, Family Onsen. Outdoor fire pit. A nice hotel to also stay in on rainy days.

The hotel room, our private onsen, the public spa and onsen, the gym, the fact that the hotel is nearby a river with a waterfall. It makes for an excellent private onsen experience in my opinion. Never had anything like this before!
