Staff was very kind and helpful. Room was very spacious and private onsen and garden was amazing. Food was well thought and very delicious. Recommended.

Best accommodation of our Japan trip. The staff are extremely nice, understanding and polite. The room is very clean and they would change the private onsen water daily if you would like so. The breakfast and dinner are excellent - tasty and huge portion. Will definitely stay at Fufu if we visit Hakone again.

Room was really spacious and comfortable with wonderful hot spring on the balcony. Such a relaxing place to stay. Food was really creative and delicious. We received such good service with all staff going above and beyond to communicate in English including the details of where food was sourced from and the stories behind the meals which really made us feel welcome and enjoy the food all the more.

The room, the food, the onsen, the location, there was not a thing that disappointed. We got the twin room with tatami floor and it was the best one yet, very spacious even though we didn't get to enjoy it that much as we stayed out most of the time. Onsen was very good with two baths and a sauna for women and also the free private baths, that were surprisingly easy to get into, we thought they would be much more busy. Foot bath was outside on the terrace and great during nighttime. Food was amazing, both dinner and breakfast. Dinner had a main course option and also buffet style food with alcohol and diy soda flavor. Breakfast was buffet style. Also snacks, ice lolly and alcohol are available at the lounge for some hours, so be sure to enjoy that. Location was very close to Gora station in a flat walk and had a bus stop right in front too. Couldn't be better.

Perfect location - very close to the Ropeway station and the cable car. The staff were wonderful and very accommodating of a vegetarian diet for the 4 days of our stay. Definitely recommend for the kindness of the staff alone. The Onsens are also lovely! This place is perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway!
