We loved staying in this Ryokan and it was indeed the highlight of our trip in Japan for both myself and my wife. The meals for breakfast and dinner were extravagant and delicious, although a few of the courses were too different and foreign for even my tastes! The service was exceptional, and we loved having the paying option of reserving the private onsen next door for the two of us. We actually never used the shared gendered onsens on the first floor. There are views of the mountains and they even bring late night treats in case you get hungry to your rooms! The futons and typical rooms were very nice and comfortable, and everything was beautiful! We greatly recommend it.

Located in the Utsukushigahara hot-spring area, Hotel Shoho offers Japanese and Western accommodation with mountain views. It was amazing. The property and staff are so nice and so helpful

Momoyama se găsește în Matsumoto, la aproximativ 6,3 km de Gara Matsumoto și la 8,6 km de Muzeul Japonez Ukiyo-e. Momoyama is nestled in the hills above Matsumoto. We stopped in at the Information kiosk at the train station and they called Momoyama and we were able to get a shuttle up to the hotel . Which is good because it was probably an hours walk away . The location is gorgeous . The hotel is a traditional ryokan . We both had a wonderful bath in the hot springs / onsen . Then a traditional dinner was served to us in our room . 8 courses , each unique and delicious . Our beds were made for us and we settled into a wonderful nights sleep . In the morning we had a wonderful breakfast in their reception area overlooking the city .. It was one of our best stays in Japan !

Boasting various indoor and outdoor hot spring baths, Izumiya Zenbe is a historical Japanese-style accommodation with a chic ambiance, established in 1876. It was a super nice stay, we loved the dinner and the staff super friendly.
