Kyukamura Nikko-Yumoto, a property with an open-air bath, is situated in Nikko, 14 km from Kegon Falls, 29 km from Nikko Toshogu Shrine, as well as 30 km from Tobu Nikko Station. Amazing staff, so nice and helpful. The room is great and spacious, and meals are really good. I’m vegetarian and the staff were so helpful and did their best to give me as many options as possible.

Yumoto Itaya er staðsett á Yumoto-hverasvæðinu og býður upp á varmaböð innan- og utandyra. Lovely and kind staff—so incredibly welcoming. Location is in a very peaceful and scenic town. Perfect place to relax after hiking during the day. Food was phenomenal and absolutely delicious!

Clean, Big tatami room. Onsen onsite. Free ramen noodle for a late night snack is a surprise. About 15 minutes drive from the Chuzenji lake.

Gestir geta hresst sig við í almenningssólu með onsen sem er bæði úti og inni. onsen er undir berum himni og er umkringt klettum frá Mt. Nantai, sem er sagður vera öflugur andlegur staður. I wholeheartedly recommend the Okunikko Konishi The staff were gracious beyond measure and made or first stay at a Ryokan extremely special. I stayed with my two teenaged sons and as westerners we were slightly uncomfortable with public onsen. Private onsen here was amazing and so reasonably priced. And I had the best breakfast of my life here, with local yuba and vegetables and a hot pot of miso soup. We left a bag behind and the gentleman who checked us out was standing at the door with it when we returned! (The hotel also has a free shuttle to and from Nikko which is so handy..) Definitely stay here after or before hiking, the rooms are spacious and so comfortable. Thank you to all staff, we hope to return!
