I didn't realise this was newly built. The location was great, my friend and I got to see parts of yokohama we never saw before. The staff were nice and very helpful. The view was stunning. Although it can get windy. We saw lots of young couples staying there. Everything in the room was easy to use and understand, and everything kept very clean. Our room had the exact same view as the lobby area with the waterfront. We are definitely coming back to stay here from now on.

Overlooking Yokohama Bay, the Intercontinental boasts a 31st-floor Chinese restaurant and a spa with massages. Rooms have free WiFi and city or bay views. All was perfect, the room, the view, the service, the room was impeccably clean, everything was top notch, and I really enjoyed my stay there. Also loved the SPA. The hotel is a short walk to Minato Mirai metro station, and also a walking distance to all places in Minato Mirai area. There is a shuttle bus to the Haneda airport with its final stop directly at the hotel. Would be more than happy to stay there again!
