The owner of the hotel is a very nice and very helpful. I can see the beatiful view of the mountain from the window of the hotel. The private onsen is very impressive. I got lost because my GPS doesn't work and I got there late at night. Fortunately, I brought the phone number and the name of the hotel in Japanese. The owner is so nice to come to pick me up and take me to the hotel safely.

湯布院 おやど花の湯yufuin oyado hananoyu is gunstig gelegen in de wijk Yufuin Onsen in Yufu, en ligt op 47 km van Oita Bank Dome, 2,7 km van Kinrinko Meer en 32 km van station Beppu. the place was very cosy and the private onsen was amazing. a little ways off from the main town so you need to prep snacks ahead but the owner was very nice to drive us to and from the train station upon request. There's alot of information in the room about ordering food so if you get hungry just refer to those.

We included the dinner and the breakfast. The food quality at this place was the best out of all places we tried. That was so worth the price, especially the 10 course dinner. The cleanliness of the entire place was above and beyond our expectations. We loved the yukata and the wooden sandals provided by them. We were able to take photos at the kinrin lake within the yukata. Both the indoor and outdoor onsen were nice. It would have been good to see some details (benefits) about the water but there was none written info. The water was way too hot when we enter one of the outdoor spa. If we weren't taught by the previous ryokan we wouldn't have know to mix in the cold water to the pool. The drop off service to the Yufuin station was nice.
