Ideally situated in Christchurch, The Observatory Hotel Christchurch features a buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. This is a fantastic hotel that ticks all the boxes for comfort, customer service and a sense of luxury. The staff were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. The bed was amazing and so was the shower. We also loved how the hotel was decorated; lots to see (artwork, books, etc... not your standard hotel lobby) and the location was perfect for us: short walking distance to everything in Christchurch center. In the same courtyard as the hotel you can find a wine bar which is a lovely place to spend an evening. I cannot think of a single thing that I would suggest to change in this hotel. Our stay was simply perfect.

It truly feels and looks like a 5 star hotel. It was super clean and the rooms were quiet which made it feel like I was at home in my own comfort. There is a restaurant at the bottom and I highly recommend it. The chef is French and it honestly shows in the passion he puts in each plate. Great place overall

Warmest welcome we’ve received on our honeymoon. Great facilities and beautiful property. Mark the concierge is a wonderful asset and I didn’t catch the name of the girl checking us in but she was amazing and gave us a complimentary upgrade as well as recommendations for the evening.

At a 10 min walking distance from Oxford terrace which had the best bars and restaurants. Room is great and beds were really comfortable
