Featuring a bar and a terrace, Sapientia Boutique Hotel is set in Coimbra, 600m from S. Sebastião Aqueduct and 400m from University of Coimbra. We simply loved everything about this hotel! The location is great, the building is beautiful, full of stories and if you are into books and writers, you’ll absolutely love this place. The staff is incredibly friendly! Our room was upgraded! Perfect room! Two bedrooms, the sofa/bed is super comfortable. The tiny kitchen has everything we needed for our baby. We felt safe and welcoming at all times. One more thing should be mentioned, apart from being extra clean, it smells amazing! Everywhere you go! We’re definitely coming back!

Great boutique hotel with only 16 rooms and a great view of the river from the rooftop and 5th floor breakfast terrace. Bed and pillow are luxurious and comfortable. I was solo traveller so didn’t mind the glass enclosed toilet and shower with full view into bedroom. Love the decor inspired by the Joanina historical library. Service was great and friendly.

Excellent location, super helpful and friendly staff. I needed some boiling water for my medicine at night and the lady nicely brought me some.

Amazing staff, they prepare a treat when they found out my mom was staying due to new session of chemo to give strength and courage. The room was amazing, very clean and comfortable. Great facilities. Loved everything
