We don't usually travel at Christmas time but our daughters thought we should visit Ireland. They knew it would be the 15th trip for my wife Glenda and I . We hit the highlights in Dub and I drove us out to the Christmas markets in Galway. Coming back to the Fitzwilliam for Christmas was an excellent choice as we enjoyed superb hospitality over Christmas and St. Stephen's day. We'll be back again.

Staff were so kind. Carla on reception was fab, and every member of staff I spoke to were so helpful. Made me a gluten free vegan breakfast. Rooms were lovely, decor is nice and hotel is spotless. I will be back
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Absolutely fabulous experience. Location super. Rooms very quiet and extremely clean. Staff were just super. We stayed the night this weekend for a wedding with a small baby and toddler. We honestly could not fault the place. Mark stood out for us. He sorted our car when we arrived and were stressed trying to get parked, unpacked, get kids sorted and get to the wedding. Hehelped with our luggage and made everything so easy for us when we initially got there.
The staff were so welcoming and helpful.
Dining was an option, travelling with children having access to good food is important.
There were board games and jigsaws in reception the kids loved these and we all enjoyed family time playing together
Enough room for a family for a comfortable stay. Good connection to city centre via Luas tram line. Supermarkets and places to eat/drink within 5 minutes walking distance: no car needed. Complex where apartment is located is very clean and friendly (mostly families with children living there it seems)
The location was ideal, as it was a family trip with my twins (aged 10). We got to visit the Epic museum, The Jennie Johnston Famine ship and also to top the whole trip off we went to Bord Gais to see Aladdin. Excellent location with small children and the swimming pool made their day!
Great place to stay, very stylish and family friendly. We got high chair delivered to the room which was perfect for our toddler. Even had a yoga mat in the room.
Really accommodating friendly staff (we were travelling with a small baby and they were happy to microwave/ sterilise items for us day and night). spacious family room, great breakfast. ideal location . Lovely restaurant - didn’t need to venture out to find eateries. Very tolerant of small children :)
