Located on the Ile d’Oleron, the Hotel Île De Lumière offers direct access to the beach. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and many other facilities. The location is picture perfect, literally. It is on the western coast of the island, so if there is a sunset, you would see it. On our days, it was rainy, but that simply brought a different kind of beauty. The beaches were mostly empty - we had them to ourselves. There are several ways to get to the beach below, and all are an easy, short walk. Yet, the hotel is elevated, so you have a lovely view of the coastline. The room was light and airy, and very clean. There is plenty of storage space, and a nice shower with plenty of pressure. The bed was very comfortable, and there were room darkening curtains. The hotel was full when we were there, but it was still quiet. Breakfast is not included, but we found it to be worth the price. There was a lot of variety in the pastries offered, along with cheese, meat, boiled eggs, cereal, and fruit. We would recommend this place, and would stay again.

Located directly on the seafront, in the middle of Royan's main beach, the Hotel Family Golf offers a panoramic view over the bay and the port. The hotel is clean, the staff is helpful, the location is excellent, the breakfast is delicious and the room is wonderful. I will visit again next time

Set in Chevanceaux, in a historic building, 47 km from Patiras Island, The Little Robin is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a garden and bar. The dog was very funny and cute

Located just 11 km from Notre Dame Church, Villa de l’Eguille provides accommodation in LʼÉguille with access to a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, as well as a shared kitchen. We stayed for 2 nights. Fantastic place and people. Lovely room and outside space. Hosts are amazing. We recommend this without any hesitation.

The staff at the hotel were so kind and accommodating, making sure that everything was perfect for us. The rooms were always spotless and perfectly kitted out with the latest technology. Food was exceptional - delicious and delivered to rooms and to the poolside within minutes. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

Situated 2.2 km from La Rochelle Train Station, 3.2 km from L'Espace Encan and 3.6 km from Parc Expo de La Rochelle, Location LA REBELLE - LA ROCHELLE B features accommodation located in La Rochelle. Beautifully appointed apartment, with everything we needed. You enter the apartment via a locked door at the top of a stairwell, straight into a small enclosed terrace, which provides a lot of natural light (note, there are no windows facing the streer). Once in the terrace you are faced by full height glazed sliding doors, kitchen/lounge ahead, bedroom to your right.. Unusual design, but very well executed, we loved it. It is about 25 minutes walking distance from the port, which is no hardship, and about 10 minutes in the car Appartment is located at the end of a small side street, close to a main road, you wouldn't realise that though, it was very quiet. Recommended, we would/will again.

Fantastic location right in the centre of historic La Rochelle, but very quiet and very comfortable. The host was very charming and helpful. Highly recommend this place.
