They upgrade our room, thw breakfast was great interm of taste and variety. The staff also very helpful and they remember our morning coffee choice 😊.

Located in Timuran, Ranasa Yogyakarta features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Bed comfortable, great airconditioning in dorm rooms, hot showers, clean. Quiet spot with treed yard, hammocks, and small pool (lovely in to chill, but too shallow to really swim or tread water). Dorms are only four beds to a room, so pretty quiet and spacious. Curtain, reading light, power outlet, and tiny shelf in each bunk. Lockers are available (fit medium-large bag), and are conveniently outside the rooms (so more quiet). Staff are very kind and very helpful with logistics questions. Appreciated the water refill (to avoid plastic disposables). Vegetarian pancakes and fruit available for breakfast. Walking distance from lots of great restaurants, the cool/hip Jl. Prawirotaman street, and Alun-Alun Kidul.

I stayed about 3 months in this hostel, and I was so sad to leave because i felt at home. Mok is a super host. He makes you feel really comfortable, and whatever you need, he gonna help you, he is really kind and helpful. I had my birthday in their hostel, and Moak made me feel really special, he take care of each guest as I had never seen, the value doesn't have any comparatiion with the price that you pay. The hostel has a beautiful and big garden with mango trees, chilli, eggplant, and avocado, and it has even a basketball basket. In this garden, I spent I lot of time in the morning. It's a good place to do yoga and journalism or meditation. Inside, he has a big area to chill, play games, play guitar (yes, he has a guitar!) or just for work in the computer, and for the cooking lovers,, he has a really big kitchen with all the tools that you need. The beds are really comfy, and of course, he has AC. He has chickens and a cat, Aban, Mok's son. This is a beautiful place to stay. You don't need to think about it, it's the best hostel that I have ever been, and now it's my second home.

The room is even bigger than I thought, comfy and luxurious. Breakfast has all types of options and especially the unique Indonesian style food. Location is good, 10min drive to airport.

Offering a garden and garden view, Abrakadabra 747 is situated in Timuran, 1.5 km from Sultan's Palace and 2 km from Museum Sonobudoyo. The owner and the staff shower great hospitality, helping us with all our questions and they were even kind enough to let us use their common facilities after checking out because our train from Yogyakarta was late in the night. If I am going back to Yogyakarta I would stay there again. About the rooms, they are basic but clean. We did not need more than that since all day we're out for sightseeing.

It was a beautiful stay very different from the regular hotels and I would strongly recommend it to visitors coming to Yogya. The architecture is gorgeous, the place peaceful and the staff were so warm and hospitable, always ready with any help or information you might need. Even if you come without planning for a driver or tour, they would be able to arrange and it is slightly better priced than some online portals. The location is on a quiet street which is great for us. The breakfast is a wonderful spread which is served as an individual set in the courtyard garden when you are ready. Don't miss this! We had different menus on the 2 days we stayed.
