From the excellent and detailed wine tasting, the views of the property, the infinity swimming pool with sunset view, the dinner and breakfast service, the painting with wine in their little garden, it was all beyond perfect. Highly recommend Ventozelo hotel and quinta for the best Duoro experience!! Perfect for couples and small groups. We couldn't hike as we were tired but this property has multiple mapped hikes which one can do as an activity.

Makikita sa Peso da Regua, Norte Region, matatagpuan ang Original Douro Hotel sa layong 400 metro mula sa Douro Museum. This is a beautifully restored hotel that doesn’t look like much from the outside, but is just delightful on the interior. The owner-manager spent literally years carefully and thoroughly renovating this nearly 150 year old building, carefully preserving many old architectural elements that provide a truly charming atmosphere. The result is stunning! Also the breakfast buffet was amazing with such a wide array of delicious choices. Our stay here was well worth the slightly higher rate. The front desk staff turned out to be the owner and she was so helpful in directing us in exploring an old, nearby town that suited our interests perfectly.

Gorgeous view, friendly host and pets (1 cat and 2 dogs), tasty breakfast, plenty of outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the view (jacuzzi, pool, hammocks and picnic tables). The whole place is tastefully decorated.

This is an amazing property with super rooms, picturesque views and a five star restaurant! One never has to leave the property to feel totally relaxed and looked after but you can walk to the nearby town and explore.
