Hotel Patria in Strbske Pleso houses a restaurant with Slovakian cuisine, a billiards room and spa area accessible free of charge including a gym, a sauna and an indoor pool. The ski slopes are 200 metres away. Mostly everything. We knew this hotel from 40 years ago when my grandparents stayed there. It was a fancy hotel back then and although it aged, they managed to revamp it in a way that it is a very good value for money. The wellness section has so much variety we could spend the whole day there. Room is spacious and comfortable. Other facilities like kids club and bowling are great addition for families with kids. Location is fantastic, all the main hiking routes pass by the hotel, we didn't even take the car out most days.

Great for families (we had 4 kids with us). Amazing location, awesome service, great pool and spa. They upgraded one of our rooms and ensured they were connected (without requesting). The staff, front desk, bellman - were all fantastic!!!

The wellness center offers relaxation pools and massage jets, a children's pool, dry sauna, steam sauna, infrared sauna, whirlpool and waterfalls, all available free of charge. We really loved our stay at Hotel Hills. The wellness area (especially the outdoor hot tub) was magnificent, especially after a long hike in the mountains. Both dinner and breakfast were great. The room was new and clean, the bed was super comfortable. I have nothing bad to say - one of my favourite hotels ever. Will hopefully be visiting again!
