Juan cooked breakfast each morning, including home cooked bread, cakes, omlette, jams, and other savoury treats . There was an option to have a home cooked dinner. Karen is an amazing cook also. We enjoyed an authentic Brazilian dinner and had a bottle of Uruguayan red wine. Rafael is their 19 year old son, and he stays there during his summer break. His help and kindness were really appreciated. He speaks perfect English, as well as Spanish & Portuguese. He was always happy to talk with us and give us information about the area. Juan was also enthusiastic, and we managed to communicate with our limited Spanish and also with Rafaels help. They also provided deck chairs, beach umbrellas, and towels for our day on the beach.

Many comforts with the amazing room and balcony, sauna, pool, small warmer pool and jacuzzi. Was so nice to book the jacuzzi for two ahead of time and sauna as well for a nice intimate experience. Our particular end unit had an upper and lower deck and the upper had shade or sun at various times of the day and was so private with a side yard. Small intimate venue.
