The apartment was well furnished and very clean. It was close to the airport which was very helpful with 2 kids in tow and no long transfers to endure. Carla was the ‘hostess with the mostest’ for sure and made us feel so welcome. She waited up late to let us check in after a flight delay and was so helpful throughout the week, giving us tips on good places to visit and to eat in. She was also on hand to borrow items from eg when we used the BBQ and didn’t have the utensils.

Very warm welcome of our hosts in this beautiful family-owned castle with modern comfort. The location is very convenient to go to Porto airport. Location was much closer to the train station, supermarkets, cafes, restaurant than expected. Breakfast was excellent and catered for everyone. Staff were very helpful and happy to fulfill any requests. The amenities kept the family of 16 ranging 3 generations entertained… pool, badminton, table tennis, basketball…. The large villa and extensive grounds allow space for everyone and a peaceful corner can be found if needed.
